National Day of Listening 2024

National Day of Listening, observed on November 29, 2024, encourages us to take time to truly hear the stories and experiences of others. On this day, instead of focusing on the rush of holiday shopping, we are invited to engage in meaningful conversations with loved ones, capturing the narratives that shape our lives and relationships. It’s an opportunity to reflect, connect, and honor the voices that often go unheard.

At The Matricentric Way, we believe that listening is a powerful act of support, especially in the journey of motherhood. Mothers carry untold stories—of joy, struggle, transformation, and resilience—that deserve to be heard. The practice of listening is central to our mission, as it allows mothers to share their experiences, feel valued, and connect with others who understand their journey. Whether it's listening to the stories of being mothered, the challenges of raising children, or the inner reflections of matrescence, listening fosters empathy, community, and healing. On this National Day of Listening, we encourage all mothers and those who support them to take a moment to truly listen—to themselves, to their children, and to other mothers—because every voice matters.
