I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist born and raised in Marin County in the San Francisco Bay Area. With over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse roles—from reproductive health specialist and school counselor to group facilitator and perinatal therapist. Today, I run a private therapy practice dedicated to maternal mental health, supporting women as they navigate the transformative journey of motherhood.

Pierrette Masimango
I’m Pierrette Masimango, the founder of Matribella, a maternal wellness consultancy dedicated to guiding mothers through the often-overlooked emotional landscape of motherhood. As a seasoned content producer and photographer, I launched Matribella to support women as they navigate their matrescence. With a background in Communications and a love for pop culture, I bring relevant media examples into my work, recognizing how much of our understanding of motherhood is influenced, shaped, and reinforced by the media we consume. Through Matribella, I aim to offer mothers an empathetic perspective, revealing that their struggles are rarely isolated but shared by so many others.
