Lucero has extensive experience assisting women with reproductive and perinatal mental health concerns. Her areas of focus include reproductive health challenges, trauma, mothering, and grief. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities to support her clients in achieving happier and healthier lives.

Lucero is a clinical social worker - supervisor and psychotherapist specialized in maternal and reproductive mental health. She is certified by Postpartum Support International as a perinatal mental health provider. Prior to becoming a clinical social worker in the US, she was a child psychologist in Mexico City. She has worked for over a decade with children and families in various settings, including mental health agencies, hospitals and primary care clinics. Her work as a hospital social worker in the NICU at Texas Children's Hospital and her personal infertility and postpartum struggles, ignited her passion to work with women in the perinatal period. She decided to switch gears in her profession and for the past 7 years, she has worked with women struggling with various problems related to reproductive health, trauma, and grief. She provides counseling services for women residing in Houston and all over Texas.
